Hailed by music legend Nile Rodgers as a “genius” and championed by Emmy winning writer and film producer Lena Waithe, Kyan is a multi-disciplinary artist who has amassed over 130 million streams, composed music and created films for major television networks and brands.
Growing up an introverted black boy in a bi-racial, lesbian household in Cambridge informed Kyan’s early desire to focus his art on building bridges and navigating the human experience through the universal languages of music and film.
